JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER — PART TIME
Part Time: 24-30 hours weekly
On site position at our HQ in Covington, KY

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team who has a bachelors degree in graphic design (or similar) to assist in designing our personalized collection, custom signage as well as support miscellaneous projects based on business needs.  The associate will help implement the designs from concept all the way to preparing the final files for our production team. This position requires understanding of design and production within a thriving manufacturing and retail environment.

Responsibilities

Work closely with team to design and execute personalized collection & custom projects

Assist in expanding current collections and develop templates to be used for future projects

Handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, collaborate with team to define project scope,
requirements, materials requested and deadlines

Communicate via email and telephone with customers/clients on their art proofs and custom
projects

Understand the different mediums we use - including wood, acrylic, metal, latex paint, wood
stains, etc - and communicate with clients the final finishes on art proofs before order goes
into production  

Prep files and order details for production team 

Create (marketing or branding) print hand outs and e-mail campaigns to be sent out to our subscriber list on an as needed basis

Requirements

Must have a bachelors degree in graphic design or related field with 2-5 years experience as
a graphic designer

Efficient in Adobe Creative Cloud—Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign. AutoCAD/3D programs is a plus

Strong typographical and illustrative skills

Thinks creatively, conceptually, and strategically about design and product design

Well organized and proactive with a strong attention to detail

Hands-on team player adding value, creating strategies & assisting where needed

Exceptional account management and communication abilities

Must be comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently

Must live in the greater Cincinnati area
